My idea was to take a cheap IP-Camera with night vision and place it behind my kitchen window. I bought the Camera at the ACTION in the Netherlands for 30 Euros. LINK This however, produced camera blinding reflections in the double pane glass. This was not the way to get a security camera to film outside. My next idea was to print a 3D housing for the camera. I immediately scrapped that idea because the enclosure would be porous on the slightest imperfection in the 3D print. So I came up with the idea to create a housing out of PVC drainage caps and 3D print the mount.
You need one screw on cap. 75mm in diameter. We drill a hole in the center of this one (50mm) to be able to mount a Plexiglas window with hot glue. The cap is also cut down in length to precisely accommodate our camera
