Crafting replacement rubber components for the classic Austin A30 and A35 is a rewarding endeavor, driven by the simple necessity of age. These beloved vehicles, now 60 to 70 years old, invariably suffer from perished and failing rubber parts, a common challenge for enthusiasts dedicated to their upkeep. Recognizing the difficulties in sourcing these specific replacements, particularly for less common items, I focus on producing the rubber components that are not readily available through established channels like the Austin A30 - A35 Owners Club Parts Scheme, which thankfully offers a more comprehensive range. My aim is to complement their efforts, ensuring that owners can find those crucial, elusive rubber pieces needed to keep their vintage Austins in prime condition and on the road for years to come. Most of these parts are made from Poly Urethane (PU) with a shore hardness of 40. The rubber looks and feels like the original rubber.
